Common Ownership of Companies Offers Unmatched Wound Care Services

Diversified Clinical Services (Jacksonville, Fla) and Wound Care Centers, Inc. (Jacksonville, Fla) announce that they will be under common ownership of WCS Clinics, Inc. The Jordan Company LP, Edgewater Capital, and Bolder Capital are private equity firms that are funding this consolidation. New common ownership is forging a new level of wound care management.
The demand for hospital-based wound care is growing dramatically with more than 7 million people in the country in need of services to trea nonhealing wounds, diabetic and pressure ulcers, vascular insufficiency, and radiation injury. Both companies contract with hospitals to establish and maintain comprehensive wound care programs. Such programs will provide top clinical expertise, thorough research, efficient data systems, and experienced staff.
On a combined basis, Diversified Clinical Services and Wound Care Centers hold a leading industry position with more than 260 hospital contracts responsible for 40 states. The companies will have more than 700 employees nationwide as a result of this transaction.
The management teams of both companies will remain in place after the deal is closed. The transaction has uniquely positioned both companies to better serve a higher volume of patients while incorporating the best clinical practices across the continuum of healthcare.
