SANUWAVE™ ANNOUNCES APPROVAL FOR DIABETIC FOOT ULCER TREATMENT

SANUWAVE Inc (Alpharetta, Ga), a leading provider and developer of Pulsed Acoustic Cellular Expression (PACE) technology, announces the company has received conditional approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to initiate a multicenter, prospective, randomized clinical trial utilizing its dermaPACE device for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.

The device produces stresses at a cellular level that leads to immediate increases in microcirculation and signals the cellular release of specific proteins. These proteins include angiogenic growth factors that have been clinically shown to support neovascularization.

THERMOGENESIS OBTAINS FDA CLEARANCE TO MARKET CRYOSEAL®

The CryoSeal FS System is an automated device and companion sterile blood processing disposable used to prepare fibrin sealants from plasma within 1 hour. The system produces a second-generation surgical sealant, which produces 2 interactive protein component solutions from a patient’s plasma.
