I have been practising for over 20 years, and I have been involved in Healthcare Information Technology, I find the electronic systems are much more compliant with the patients' privacy than paper based records. It is a matter of understanding better how the electronic systems work. Having said that, I still find a long way to go to reach an ideal EMR but we are going that direction. we are still experiencing the second generation of EMRs.
