Whenever a new wound product comes out,I trial it on my herd of horses first, before my patients, because if it holds up to its claims & can perform well in an "outdoor" environment...it will do well on humans. Recent example: Mountain lion attack on one of my mares...4 inch hole in neck into muscle near jugular...healed in 2 months using PHMB irrigation wash, then packed with Aquacel AG,covered with SN large foam & secured with coban/neck sweat wrap....no scar either...

Efficacy first, cost effectiveness second. Patients come first.
