Advanced BioHealing, Inc (San Diego, CA) appointed Cynthia A. Fleck, RN, BSN, ET/WOCN, CWS, CFCN, DNC, as Senior Director of Clinical Marketing.

  Fleck is a board-certified wound specialist and dermatology advanced practice nurse, and will be responsible for building clinical education and marketing programs throughout the US focused on the company’s lead product, DERMAGRAFT®, for diabetic foot ulcers.

  Fleck serves as the Past President and Chairman of the Board of the American Academy of Wound Management; Past Director of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care; Co-Chair of the Desert Foot Conference; Diplomat of the American Professional Wound Care Association, where she serves on the Medical Advisory Board and was recently presented the Distinguished Industry Member Award; PRESENT Diabetes and Mount Sinai School of Medicine Advisory Board Member; Fellow of the American College of Certified Wound Specialists; and Board Member of The American Colleague of Certified Wound Specialists. Previously, she held the position of Vice President, Clinical Marketing for Medline Industries, Inc Advanced Skin and Wound Care for
nearly nine years.

  Fleck has presented over 500 seminars and lectures at university, national, and international programs and symposiums, and has written 250 articles and chapters for
various peer-reviewed and clinical publications and texts. She authors the “Frequently
Asked Question” column in Advances in Skin and Wound Care, the industry’s most
prestigious and widely read peer-reviewed journal. In addition, she writes for numerous
trade publications and journals and serves on several editorial advisory boards.
